The First People Memorial Garden

logo longest size.png

In 2009 a local First People's health provider, caring for aged and invalid pensioners, held a sorry day to which they invited friends and relatives of clients who had died during the year. Memorial plaques were installed for these people. Since then various plaques have been installed.  Paths and sitting places have been developed in the adjoining bush and anyone is welcome to visit.  We have an Elders Day in the first week of December when new plaques are put up. Anyone is welcome to have the plaque of a friend or relative installed. The ashes of both First and Second People have been placed in the Memorial Garden.
